“Wolverine does absolutely nothing”: Marvel Rivals Didn’t Love Hugh Jackman or Robert Downey Jr.

Marvel Rivals is a terrific game, but it doesn’t honor Hugh Jackman and Robert Downey Jr.

Hugh Jackman and Robert Downey Jr.’s heroes are so terrible it seems like playing with a droid. They give nothing and have no impact on the game.

Wolverine and Iron Man are Marvel Rivals’ worst choices.

Wolverine has no attack damage, so it feels like dragging an irate man across the landscape, waving his claws at everybody who comes near without damaging enemies.

His actions seem more like a frantic attempt to stay relevant in the Marvel Universe than a recognized superhero with a successful background. NetEase has rendered him weak and fat, removing his charm. He doesn’t affect the game.

YouTuber Treyllo posted a brief video expressing his opinion. About Wolverine, he said:

They butcher this character how? A Marvel icon. His marshmallow claws do no damage; Wolverine does nothing.

Iron Man appears to be a shell of its former self. His rustiness is excessive. His strikes are unsatisfying and one of the easiest flying targets to defeat.

Iron Man was agile and dealt damage quickly. However, you now appear to be dragging a large vehicle through the air while vomiting sluggish beams from your suit. The game attempts to make you feel like Tony Stark but lacks excitement.

NetEase must enhance Wolverine and Iron Man. Due to their popularity, these superheroes deserve better. Marvel Universe-wide. The game seeks to make you feel like your heroic counterpart.

Not being able to choose your favorite characters undermines the game. Marvel Rivals’ primary draw is that it belongs to the Marvel Universe, and if the most popular heroes are behind, it doesn’t do the source material credit.

The game is young, therefore the creator has time to fix it and buff these two characters without disrupting the balance.

NetEase should improve them.
