Joe Perry Fuels Hopes for One Final Aerosmith Show with Steven Tyler

Joe Perry recently sparked speculation about a potential final Aerosmith performance. He shared his thoughts on the possibility during an interview with WZLX’s Kenny Young.

The Aerosmith guitarist addressed the likelihood of the band reuniting for another show despite their touring days being behind them.

“We’re actually talking quite a bit. I know our touring days are over, but… I don’t know… We’re all flesh and blood… I don’t know, man. I would say, at some point … we will all be together on the same stage,” Perry said.

Perry expressed cautious optimism about the possibility. He drew on his gambling instincts to make a prediction.

“If I was a betting man, which I am, I would say, at some point something’s gonna happen. But we’ll see,” he continued.

The comments come as fans continue to hope for one more opportunity to see the legendary rock band perform together.

Perry’s optimistic remarks follow a challenging period for the band that ultimately led to their retirement from touring. AXS TV reported that Aerosmith’s touring days were cut short when Steven Tyler, now 77, fractured his larynx during a September 2023 show on their “Peace Out” farewell tour. This led to the band’s retirement announcement in August 2024.

Despite the setback, recent developments suggest the band members remain connected. Blabbermouth noted that Perry and Tyler recently performed together for the first time in nearly two years at a private benefit concert for Janie’s Fund, Tyler’s initiative helping girls who have experienced trauma.

The performance marked a significant moment for fans who have been waiting to see any sign of the band members collaborating again. Edge Little Rock revealed that Tyler has performed sporadically since his injury. However, a full reunion on stage with the entire band has not yet occurred.

Meanwhile, Perry continues to maintain his connection to live performance through The Joe Perry Project, which is touring several cities in 2025. This ongoing activity keeps the guitarist in performance shape. It also leaves the door open for a possible final Aerosmith show in the future, should the opportunity arise.
