Wanting to bring a little country music to Brooklyn, Michigan, the Faster Horses Festival promised a weekend full of music, games, and fun. Sadly, as the event approached, organizers announced they needed to cancel the country music festival for 2025. Although the future of the festival is somewhat unknown, the Country Roads Music Festival was born. Looking to keep the good times rolling with another festival, it appears that just a few days before kick-off, the Country Roads Festival also ended up canceled.
2025 seemed like a bad year for country music festivals in Michigan as Country Roads Music Festival organizers shared the heartbreaking news. And to make it worse, the event was just a few days away. Already promoting headliners like Colt Ford and Drew Baldridge, the festival was expected to take over The Groves of Michigan Campground, which was a short distance from the Michigan International Speedway. The racetrack was the home of the Faster Horses Festival.
Organizers Promise To Return In 2026 With Country Road Music Festival
Releasing a statement about the decision, organizers admitted, “We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone Country Roads Music Festival until 2026. This wasn’t an easy call, but we truly believe it’s the right one. Our goal has always been to create something meaningful for this community, and we want to give it the time and care it deserves.”
While there will be no festival this year, fans can expect a great year of country music in 2026. As for those who happened to purchase tickets, the organizers insisted, “All tickets will be fully refunded. You don’t need to do a thing, we’ll handle it on our end and make sure that money gets back to you as quickly as possible.”
Organizers ended their statement, thanking fans for their ongoing support, and hoped to see them in 2026. “We’re so grateful for your support and understanding. This community means the world to us, and we can’t wait to share something really special with you in 2026.”
