Eric Clapton has announced a one-off show to take place in summer 2026 at The Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
The show will take place on August 23rd. The Sunday show is the first to be announced for the 2026 summer series. Three more dates, namely on August 20th, 21st, and 22nd
Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festivals has shared his excitement about the booking, stating, “Eric Clapton is one of the greatest musicians of all time and it’s a dream come true for all of us at HeritageLive Festivals to have him play at The Sandringham Estate for us next August.”
Cooper added, “It’s going to be such a special and unique event – one of those gigs where you say in years to come, ‘I was there!’. We just can’t wait!”
Earlier this year, Clapton undertook a US tour in celebration of his latest album, Meanwhile, which was released in October 2024.
His last UK show was in May of this year, as part of his short UK tour. The tour included dates at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. Additionally, the former Cream star played as part of a Jeff Beck tribute earlier this year.
At 80 years of age, the star is still touring and performing despite health issues, which include peripheral nerve damage in his fingers.
Clapton has recruited a series of special guests for the album. Notably, the late Jeff Beck, who passed away in 2023, appears on the track, ‘Moon River’. Other notable names that feature include Van Morrison, Bradley Walker, Simon Climie, Daniel Santiago, and Judith Hill.
In 2025, shows at The Sandringham Estate included headline performances from Pet Shop Boys, Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, and Stereophonics.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on December 3rd, before general tickets are set to go on sale on December 5th.
