Bruce Kulick recently shared a statement about his appearance at the KISS Kruise Landlocked event in Las Vegas. This came just days after Paul Stanley publicly apologized to him for not properly crediting Kulick during the event, despite his significant contributions to the band’s history. The statement was shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Kulick’s statement responded to an earlier apology from Paul Stanley. Stanley acknowledged that he had not properly credited Kulick during the event despite his significant contributions to the band’s history.
“YES!!! This happened last Saturday night, at the KISS Kruise Landlocked in Las Vegas,” Kulick said. “I am far right in the photo. I played ‘Lick it Up’ and ‘Rock N Roll All Nite.’ It was ‘magical’ and what a great way to end a fantastic show from KISS without makeup!”
Paul Stanley expressed his regret for the oversight during a Q&A session at the same event. “Before we get going and we’ve got, you know, a lot of questions and answers, I just wanted to apologize to Bruce because last night with everything going on and it being exciting and it being a big adrenaline rush, first I was surprised when Bruce was out there,” Stanley said.
He added, “I didn’t remember he was coming out and then I forgot to give him his due cuz Bruce not only is a member of the family, Bruce was an important member of the band. So, apologies for not giving him his credit last night.”
The exchange between the two musicians highlighted the significance of Kulick’s role in KISS’s history. It underscored the emotional weight of his continued involvement with the legendary rock band. The incident sparked widespread discussion among fans and media outlets about recognizing the contributions of band members throughout KISS’s storied career.
During an interview on The Rock Experience with Mike Brunn, Paul Stanley made a sincere apology. He emphasized that Kulick is a respected and crucial member of the KISS family. Stanley’s acknowledgment of the oversight demonstrated his commitment to properly honoring those who have shaped the band’s legacy over the decades.
The surprise appearance took place at the KISS Kruise event held November 15-16, 2025, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. As reported by Ruta Rock, the event marked a significant reunion that included other special guests. It featured a setlist celebrating KISS’s legacy. Kulick’s participation in both the live performance and the Q&A session made the Kruise a memorable occasion for fans and band members alike.
Alternative Nation noted that visible tension during the live show was noticed by fans. The incident received widespread coverage, highlighting Stanley’s acknowledgment of Kulick’s vital role in KISS history despite the frontman’s initial lapse during the high-energy Kruise atmosphere. The public apology served as a reminder of the importance of recognizing the contributions of all band members who have contributed to KISS’s enduring success in rock music.
