Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Moments Revealed: Paramedics Spent Two Hours Trying to Save Him

Emergency responders made desperate attempts to save Ozzy Osbourne’s life during his final moments. New details have emerged about the rock legend’s death, as reported by Daily Mail.

The report reveals that paramedics worked for two hours in an effort to revive the Black Sabbath frontman. An air ambulance was dispatched to his estate for the emergency response.

Daily Mail reported that the Thames Valley air ambulance landed in a field close to Welders House, Ozzy’s Grade II listed mansion on Tuesday morning at around 10.30am.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance provided official confirmation of their involvement in the emergency response.

“We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday,” a spokesperson for Thames Valley Air Ambulance confirmed to MailOnline.

Local residents witnessed the emergency response unfold near Osbourne’s property. They immediately feared for the musician’s wellbeing.

“I went out to have a look and saw that it was landing close to Ozzy’s house,” one resident from the area said. “All of us were talking about it and wondering what had happened. We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health. When we heard later that night that he had died it confirmed our worst fears.”

The incident occurred on July 22nd. Emergency crews arrived at the scene via helicopter to provide critical care support.

The emergency response came after months of declining health for the metal icon. He had been battling multiple serious medical conditions. Vocal Media reported that Ozzy had publicly retired from touring earlier in March 2025 due to worsening mobility issues linked to Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2019.

The Prince of Darkness managed one final performance with Black Sabbath in early July despite his retirement announcement. Vocal Media noted that he completed this emotionally charged farewell performance seated on a throne, marking the end of his legendary stage career.

The weeks leading up to his death were particularly challenging for Osbourne’s health. Wikipedia documented that he was hospitalized in Switzerland after experiencing breathing difficulties and extreme weakness. This reflected his long battle with multiple health issues including Parkinson’s disease, emphysema, and injuries from past accidents.

The end came peacefully despite the dramatic emergency response. AOL confirmed that Ozzy ultimately passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his private estate. This brought closure to a life that had been marked by both extraordinary musical achievements and significant health struggles.
